How to Promote Your Offering

Promoting Your Offering
A Marketing Guide & Resource Kit for Creators
Announcing your drop to Fans is key to your offering's success! This guide outlines how to do it right and includes ideas, tips, and assets to support your efforts.
Promotional Videos
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
1. Your Offering Page Video
Your offering page video serves two purposes: to tell investors and fans why this is a good investment and to introduce you and your channel to investors who’ve never watched a video before. Think of it similarly to pitching yourself to a brand for a sponsorship. You want to convey who you are, why your channel is engaging, and why investors should partner with you. In this video, you can mention all numbers and percentages ("terms of the offering"), discuss your background and goals, and sell Investors on why they should invest in your offering.
We recommend:
>> 1-3 minutes in length
>> Record horizontally
>> Record in standard definition
>> Speak to the audience in your usual element. For example, if your YouTube channel is focused on cars, record yourself delivering this message in or around cars.

IMPORTANT: Please send a copy of your script to your Creator Success Manager for compliance review BEFORE recording your video.

2. Your Public YouTube Announcement
This video is where you'll tell YOUR audience and fans about this opportunity and invite them to join your journey. We recommend adding short snippet announcements placed near the start of your regularly posted video content. Creators who have posted dedicated standalone videos about their offering announcements tend to experience lower views in relation to the rest of their videos.
This video should NOT mention numbers, percentages, or dates related to the offering. These are considered "terms of the offering" and the SEC forbids them to be discussed anywhere other than on your offering page. Encourage viewers to view all details on your offering page. Your Creator Success Manager will provide you with the exact URL to your offering page, which should be included in your video description.

PUBLIC VIDEO EXAMPLES BY OTHER CREATORS:
TONY GASKINS - 1st ANNOUNCEMENT
TONY GASKINS - 2nd ANNOUNCEMENT
Tony's offering was a big success in part due to his consistent efforts, mentioning his offering opportunity multiple times throughout his offering window. Whether you want to create 1 video for the first announcement and other shorter "video ads" inserted into your videos during your drop (which will be open for a minimum of 3 weeks) we encourage you to be consistent, too!
