Creator List Requirements
To be accepted for onboarding, Creators must meet GigaStar’s criteria, which include 5 key thresholds:
1. Channel Minimum Threshold
GigaStar performs a YouTube channel assessment for minimum threshold requirements, such as 12 months of revenue, $10K minimum annual YouTube revenue over the last 12 months (this does not include sponsorship revenue outside of YouTube), with a minimum of ~25K+ channel subscribers.
2. Creator Interview
GigaStar conducts a Creator interview to align with the Creator's growth goals and plans to produce content at a pace and style to keep Fans excited and engaged.
3. Financials Verification
After a Creator completes their application, GigaStar uses an Application Programming Interface (API) to verify the Creator's channel financials directly from YouTube.
4. Bad Actor Check
A Bad Actor Check (BAC) is conducted pursuant to Regulation Crowdfunding rules and is a limited background check of a business, its managers and officers, and any beneficial owner of more than 20% of the business. The BAC primarily focuses on regulatory disqualification provisions, which automatically bar an issuer from raising capital under Regulation Crowdfunding.
5. Integrity Check
Pursuant to Regulation CF Rule 301 for the funding portal, GigaStar Market is required to form a reasonable basis for believing that an issuer seeking to list an offering on the platform complies with certain regulatory requirements. Please refer to Reg CF Rule 301 for additional information.
Please note that GigaStar Market does not provide investment advice or recommendations. Potential investors must make their own independent investment decisions and are encouraged to consult with their independent legal, tax, and financial advisors before investing.
